The Bernice Nichols Scholarship provides financial support to a graduating senior pursuing further education at an institution of higher education. Bernice graduated from Lake City Lincoln High School in 1944. Bernice was a single parent, mother of six children, and believed in the importance of education. This fund was established in loving memory by her son, Mark Nichols. It provides $1,000 to an accomplished student living in a single-parent household.
