The Lake City Education Foundation is honored to offer this support on behalf of donors Mary Jo (Schad) and Bob Strauss. Mary Jo and Bob are firm believers in the transformational impact of education. This is seen in their long-lasting commitment to and leadership at their alma mater Winona State University, and now at Mary Jo’s high school alma mater Lake City Public Schools.
Applications that support innovative, new, creative, and effective approaches to educational curriculum are encouraged. The award of $3,000 is intended to be utilized before June each year but exceptions may be made upon request.
