The Lake City Education Foundation provides opportunities for past, present, and future students. Since the founding in 1999, the Foundation has supported its mission and needs your monetary donation to continue.
The following are ways that donors to Lake City Education Foundation make philanthropic gifts to support our work. Donors are encouraged to notify the President of the Foundation of all gift intentions to ensure that gifts fit within Lake City Education Foundation’s acceptance policy (read full gift policy here) and the donor’s intent is carried out.

Remembering Cathy Nichols
A scholarship fund in memory of Cathy Nichols has been established under the Lake City Education Foundation. Checks may be made out to the Lake City Education Foundation and mailed to PO Box 421, Lake City, Minnesota 55041 or online donations are also accepted through our Mightycause account.
Gifts of Stock
A certificate held by a bank or broker can be transferred to LCEF. Please contact us at lakecityeducationfoundation@gmail.com for transfer instructions.

Investment Policy
The Lake City Education Foundation Endowment and Scholarship Funds were created to provide perpetual financial support to programs and projects. The purpose of the Investment Policy Statement is to establish guidelines for the investment portfolio and incorporate basic accountability standards used for selecting investments and monitoring progress.
